So, tommorrow is going to be a really HARD day for me to maintain healthy eating. It's one of the type of days where Jason and I are never home. I could seriously use some help on how to manage this.
At 10am, we have to be @ Beth's for a D&D game. Snacks are available - namely, donuts. I have a weakness for donuts. Also, I'm not moving at all, I'm sitting at a table, rolling dice. Moving is disruptive and not an option. The snacks are within arm's length.
This lasts til noon.
At 1pm, Jason has a dentists appointment. It's all the way on the OTHER side of town, so we don't have time to swing home for a balanced meal. Likely, it will be McDonalds or Burger King, in the car, on the way.
Once Jason's done with his dentist appointment, we come home and prep for the next game. I'm not really able to go do my own thing at this point - I need to help him. There's barely time as there is - certainly no time to make/eat a salad, or create healthy snacks.
At 4pm, We have to be at Hugh's for the next D&D game. I have the same problems - lots of snacks. Not donuts this time, but more stuff I love. Chips, dips, cheese, pizza...etc. Everyone snacks the entire game. Ditto on the not moving as well. This generally runs until 9, 10 pm. Whenever everyone's too tired to continue.

Enlist the help of people around you. Good friends are the first to support you when you tell them you need their help. Tell all your D&D friends that you've got to eat healthier, and you are determined to do it! Tell Beth to keep the donuts away from you! Pack your own snacks in the morning in a walmart bag, or run by the store and pick up some healthy items you like. Fresh Veggies (baby carrots, sugar snap peas, or the bags of broccoli caulflower, and carrot), Fruit (strawberries!), Nutri-grain Bars, sugar free applesauce, sugarfree jello (you could munch on this for hours straight and not eat any real calories), 100 calorie ice cream sandwiches (which you might have to stick in their freezer).
Tell Jason that you need to eat some place HEALTHY for lunch and that does not mean a whopper! If there is a subway on the way MAKE TIME to swing by.
If you absolutely have to go to McDonalds, get a Southwest Salad with Grilled Chicken for 320 Calories. It might be a bit more than your side salad with Ranch which is around 200 calories, but trust me... you don't need dressing on this salad and it will keep you FULLER for LONGER making the ability to resist the pizza later in the evening easier.
If you're going to burger king, try a tendergrill chicken garden salad (220 calories) with some apple fries. It will be more filling that a little side salad.
Tell Hugh the same thing... to help you keep away from the junk food. Tell everyone you will need encouragement.
You can do it!
